In ancient Greece, the Greeks played many sports at the Olympics. Some examples of their major sports are running, chariot racing, boxing, disuc throwing, wrestling, and jumping. Today there are many sports still played today like running, racing, boxing, and wrestling.
Another way to have fun was to go to the agora, which is a market place.The agora was a place to buy things such as sandals, dishes, clothing, different types of olives, and many other foods. In farmers' markets in Greece today, many people get together so they can rest, eat, and watch entertainment, such as soccer games. Past entertainment would have included sword-swallowers, fire eaters, and magicians performing includeing telling riddles.
